When One Complements Another
Whenever I think of a duo that works so perfectly well together, I remember nostalgic shows like Drake & Josh or Kenan & Kel. If we're talking food pairings, I would consider peanut butter to match with a banana or how chocolate goes so well with a strawberry.
These are just some great examples on how one complements another. With that being said, I wanted to explain to you why incorporating power can make your muscular strength and endurance that much better.
Let's dive in.

How POWER Pairs Well with STRENGTH
When you follow a program to a T but somehow when you try to perform with a much heavier load, that weight just doesn't want to budge or you feel like you're using all our effort to even push through the set? You have to understand that it's not necessarily the weight being heavy but it may be that you might be missing the other half. And that may possibly be from not incorporating power into your training regimen.
So here's a rundown on how I would incorporate power to a program ––

The performance benefits of considering power into your training include:
Improvement in your overall strength and explosiveness. If you're a dancer or an athlete of any kind of sport, the ability to generate force enhances, allowing you to perform more confidently in certain moves.
Improvement in athletic performance. The qualities of being an athlete which can include speed, agility, and reaction time, are sharpened.
Increase in muscle coordination. Power movements require synchronization between your musculature and central nervous system, improving your overall movement efficiency and reducing the risk of injury.
Functionality to our daily lives. Power translates into real-world activities, helping with daily movements like lifting, pushing, pulling, and any quick reactions. This is especially important for aging populations since this is the first thing that goes.
Why Hiring a Coach Can Pair Well with YOU
When new clients come to me for training, they usually have something missing in their routine, whether that's
- Habits that stick
- Accountability on making actionable steps
- A solid plan to follow and
- Adaptability when things don't work out as planned

Think the best of the best –– from legendary athletes like Curry, successful business professionals such as Jeff Bezos, or a choreographer that you look up to like Keone and Mari Madrid –– have their own coaches that train them to ultimately get them to perform at their peak.
