The Power Behind the Phrase

When Nike launched "Just Do It" in 1988, they didn't just start with a slogan—they created a mindset that has powered and propelled countless athletic achievements from world-class athletes & legends. This iconic three-word phrase is the antidote for self-doubt, stops paralysis by analysis, and eliminates perfectionism that plague performers across all disciplines.

The key here is simplicity. No complex strategy, no lengthy motivational speech, just thechoice to act. These three words serve as a mental reset button that limits overthinking and inspires others to lean on pure action.

Just do it.

Sometimes our thoughts outweigh the task at hand and the task at hand might not even be as bad as it seems. The way to avoid this procrastination is simply by just doing it. In fact, doing something is better than doing nothing at all, even if it's making a mistake.

Think of it like this: you train because you know it's good for you. There is more benefit in training in whatever you like to do versus not training at all because what's in front of us is that there's momentum being made. When there's momentum, you're able to maneuver thru this experience.

So if it's your first time running your first 5K run, dancing in the front of a dance class rather than being in the back where no one can see you, or diving deeper into a sport that you just started, just do the damn thing! Stop wasting what you are capable of doing; being at your truest potential.

The Ripple Effect

Athletes who embrace the "Just Do It" mentality often find it evolves more than just their performance. It builds a bias toward action that serves them in performances, competitions, and life decisions. They become the person who takes the stage and seizes opportunities while others are still thinking about it.

The slogan's power lies in its universal truth: the gap between knowing and doing is where dreams go to die. "Just Do It" is the bridge that puts forth intention into reality.

Just do it, train with me!

When people finally bite the bullet and start training under me, what they start to learn are

  • the habits that play an essential role in their day-to-day
  • accountability on doing things that they don't want to do
  • programs are not a one-size-fits-all
  • the experience of training with a coach was well worth the time & $$$
